Drop your laundry
After a toy has been washed that crisp, new look probably won’t be there. But at least they’ll look clean!
Stuffed toys – A trigger of allergies and asthma
Can you take a stuffed toy for dry cleaning? Yes, of course.
Stuffed toys like teddy bears or bunnies can be machine washed, which will be the easiest choice for most parents. However, you run the risk of damaging some toys by throwing them in with the wash, especially when it comes to cleaning well-loved (and well-worn) stuffed toys. Be sure to look for the manufacturer’s washing instructions by checking the care tag when deciding if machine washing is the best option.
Remember! Don’t over do it on detergent. You want there to be enough detergent to be effective, but you don’t want so much that you can’t get the soap off. Seek professional advise if you needed.
Always wash stuffed toys on the gentle/delicate cycle. They just can’t tolerate a more aggressive washing that a ‘normal’ cycle would give.
You can use a warm or cool wash but steer clear of hot. If items are glued on, the hot water might dissolve some of the glue. Dryer heat, even on low temperature could potentially melt glued on or plastic parts.
Seek professional advice is a good idea to ensure the stuffed toy are all in good condition, free of germs and bacteria, of course free of harmful chemical! Visit us outlets.
