Today we are going to share how you can prolong the same white freshness with home care.
Detergent for whites
Select detergent that contains bleach or bleach alternatives. Oxygen bleach (gentler than the chlorine kind) will get whites whiter. Another cleaner that you might want to try is a bluing agent, which make fabrics look blue-white instead of yellow-white.
If you feel it’s still not doing much, try adding 1 cup of baking soda to each wash load. Avoid overloading the machine as there must be enough space and water to flush the dirt away.
Wash or send to laundry any white garments that has been worn even if they still appear clean. Body and product oils, perfume and sweat can quickly discolour a garment.
Use a filter
Invest in a water filter that filters out hard water. Minerals in hard water can cause your whites to look dull.
So that’s it! Hope you’ve enjoyed the tips on how to keep your whites looking fresh and white longer. Alternatively, you may drop your items off at the nearest Pressto location for a thorough clean.
